Performance Fabrication

PERFORMANCE & DRIVETRAIN

Power Means Nothing Without Control

A high-output engine in a poorly integrated chassis doesn’t make a fast car. It makes an unpredictable one.

Performance and drivetrain work at this level ensures the power you’re building has somewhere reliable to go.

We handle the fabrication, integration, and installation work that connects performance goals to real-world results. From engine swaps and transmission mounting to turbo systems and exhaust fabrication, everything is fitted, verified, and built to hold up under the conditions you’re actually running.

Big numbers ≠ better results. Integration is what makes power usable.

WHAT WE HANDLE

The Full Picture, Not Just Parts

Drivetrain and performance work touches nearly every system in the car. Our approach accounts for spatial constraints, load paths, and system interaction before anything gets bolted in.

ENGINE SWAPS & INSTALLATION

Every swap starts with fitment decisions: mounts, clearances, and accessory routing that make the difference between something that technically runs and something that's properly integrated into the build.

TRANSMISSION & DRIVELINE

Transmission selection, mounting, driveshaft fabrication, and tunnel work built around your platform, your power level, and how the car needs to behave under load.

FORCED INDUCTION & EXHAUST

Turbo and supercharger installation, intercooler piping, exhaust manifold and header fabrication. Everything routed and built in-house to fit cleanly, clear properly, and perform consistently.

FUEL & COOLING SYSTEMS

High-output engines demand proper support. Fuel delivery, cooling capacity, and plumbing integrated as part of the build — not addressed after everything else is already in.

SUSPENSION & STEERING

Geometry set for the car's intended use, not left at factory spec. Control arms, subframe work, and steering components fitted and adjusted to suit the drivetrain, the power level, and how the car actually needs to handle.

AXLES & DIFFERENTIAL SETUP

Axle work and differential selection built around your drivetrain and power output. Geometry and load paths considered from the start so nothing downstream becomes a problem later.

THE DIFFERENCE

Customization Over Compromise

Off-the-shelf solutions are built for the average application. Most performance builds aren't average.

We fabricate what needs to exist and fit what needs to fit. Mounts, brackets, piping, and structures are made specifically for the build in front of us, not adapted from something close enough. That precision matters more at high output, where the margin between a clean installation and a problem waiting to happen is smaller than it looks.

OUR PROCESS

Spec it Twice. Weld it Once.

Drivetrain and performance work has a sequence. Getting it wrong early creates problems that compound later.

Think: clearance issues, misaligned load paths, systems that fight each other instead of working together. We map out the integration before fabrication starts, so the decisions made at the beginning hold up through final assembly.

We start with what you want to accomplish and work backward to the reality of the build. Budget, timeline, intended use. All mapped out before any parts are ordered.

If we're working with an existing vehicle, we tear it down and assess what's salvageable, what needs replacement, and what hidden issues need addressing.

Chassis work, drivetrain installation, custom fabrication, plumbing, wiring. This is where the build takes shape.

Everything comes together: body panels, interior, final wiring, fluid systems. All the details that turn a collection of parts into a functional vehicle.

We don't deliver a car and hope it works. Road testing, alignment verification, systems check. Everything validated before handoff.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

Results that Speak for Themselves

The proof is in how the machines we deliver perform right after leaving the shop and months later when it's still doing exactly what it was built to do.

I purchased an aluminum gas tank for my vintage pickup, but needed the mounts relocated on the tank to work in my truck’s frame. Performance Fabrication did an amazing job at a solid price! I will definitely utilize their services in the future, and I recommend you giving them a try.

Steve and his crew converted my ’55 Chevy into a drag race car about 18 years ago. I still get comments on what a great roll cage they put in; and their rear suspension/differential install (ladder bars with coil overs) was top notch. Great work by great people.

John M.

Had an issue with my suspension, my bigger aftermarket rear sway bar had ripped out a hole in my 2012 Civic, Steve was very helpful informing on what needed to be done and even took a look on other suspension weak points and even reinforced the welding, amazing attention to detail and show of honesty and care. Couldn’t ask for a better crew to work on my car.

Dalessandro N.

I bought a ’65 GTO 4spd HT last summer and ended up bringing it to Performance Fabrication who replaced my front ball joints, suspension bushings, repainted the control arms, replaced all springs, and detailed & repainted my 12-bolt posi rear-end. In the end, I came away very satisfied with the final work completed particularly the quality and workmanship of the chassis detail work.

WHY IT MATTERS

Power We've Seen Fail. Power We've Made Last.

High-output builds have a way of exposing shortcuts. We’ve been on the track and the salt when things go wrong, which is exactly why we approach performance and drivetrain work the way we do. The integration decisions that seem minor in the shop are the ones that matter most at speed.

We work with trusted engine builders including Nelson Engines when the build calls for it. Our role is the fabrication, fitment, and integration work that makes the mechanical side translate into real performance: reliably, repeatedly, and without compromise.

You Know What You Want. We Know How to Build It.

Forty years of making power reliable.

A well-built engine in a poorly planned chassis is a liability. Bring us what you have, tell us where you want it to go, and we’ll figure out how to get there.
